Most Third Party Viewers (TPV) have additional settings they save. I don’t know if this change is necessary. This will force RLV to use a separate settings file. The file name can be whatever you want, as long as it ends in XML. Change that to read: “C:\Program Files\RLV\RestrainedLove.exe” –settings settings_rlv.xml. In the Shortcut tab in Target you will find the entry read: “C:\Program Files\RLV\RestrainedLove.exe”. It is possible to change that behavior with command line values. You have to choose what feature is more important to you. Much like any other viewer, it has good things and bad things. The viewer does have a complicated muni system, a low fps, and can’t handle mesh really well. Also, it is lighter than the original SL viewer and Firestorm, which makes it super popular. It is simple, straightforward, easy to use, and requires fewer clicks than any other viewer on this list. This SL viewer has the best user interface by far. The viewer is highly customizable and is based on the LL V3 LGPL code. If you’re a builder or a creator, you should definitely look into this SL viewer because it has a great frame rate and will work wonders for you. Firestorm also has a fantastic in-world support group that will answer your every question. However, they aren’t of much use to newer players or occasional gamers.
